Yoshitoshi's 'Imayō hiiki azuma-e' (7/1860)


Introduction

This page catalogs all known prints in the Yoshitoshi series 'Imayō hiiki azuma-e (今様 贔屓 東繪, although sometimes 絵 is substituted for the archaic 繪; Modern Celebrities of the East)'. This is a rarely seen early kabuki series, and the total number of prints created is unknown. We catalog the two known prints below. Please help us discover additional prints!
